Ahhhh! Finally! We are so excited to share with you Diana + Kirsten’s long awaited wedding! After being postponed in 2020, these two lovebirds decided COVID wasn’t going to stop them. They reached out to us, and felt so comfortable with Jenn and I that they actually wanted one of us to officiate an elopement so they can be “officially” be married in 2020. The elopement was so special that we knew that come 2021, their wedding would be just as magical. Well, the time finally came and it was more than magical, it was EPIC. Every detail, every moment, was just so perfect. We can’t wait to show you more. For now, enjoy this sneak peek!

Kryslin & Larry became good friends of ours when we bought our home in February of last year. Larry does landscaping and we were in a total backyard makeover. Who would’ve thought that over the spring and summer of 2020 we’d become so close to one of our clients during a crazy world wide pandemic? We we’re so excited about it, and are so happy we did choose someone like Larry to help us with this transformation. Now, a year later, we finally got to celebrate with him and Kryslin. Last year when COVID hit, Brianna & Justin didn’t let anything stop them. They gathered their friends and family in a small local, and safe setting by a park nearby their house and said “I do”. So this year, when a literal tropical storm threatened their big day, they didn’t even let it phase them. In fact, they told me they heard a rumor that if it’s suppose to rain on your wedding that you go around and but rosary beads around your house’s yard, your venue, and even your hotel, and the Lord above will grant you beautiful weather….and let me tell you - IT WORKED! It was literally raining cats & dogs while I was driving to Newport for Brianna & Justin’s big day and just when I pulled up, the rain stopped, the clouds disappeared and it was a beautiful summer day in the ocean state.

This just goes to show you that these two are ready to go through any storm, any battle, any PANDEMIC together, as one. They are some of the sweetest people we’ve ever met, and are so caring, loving, and kind. We had an absolute blast heading back to our favorite venue (Newport Vineyards) and hanging out with the staff there after what seemed like a lifetime thanks to COVID.

Finally! We are back at it! Guys - it’s been one hell of a year and if any couples can relate, it’s those who like Jenn and myself, had to reschedule their wedding day thanks to last year’s global pandemic. Allie & Mark are one of those couples who through all the uphill battles that 2020 handed them, persevered and let nothing stop them from creating the most magical day. And boy, they didn’t fall short.

We had an absolute blast on their day. It might’ve been spring but it sure felt like summer with 90-degree weather, Thankfully we were at The Wyndham Newport Hotel in Newport, RI, and it sits almost directly on the water! Their wedding party, family, and friends truly were beyond excited to finally get together after a year of being cooped up in the house! Everyone was on the dance floor all night long! This year has been an absolute whirlwind. With smaller weddings, and sometimes last-minute bookings, it tends to be hard to get to know our couple as much as we’d like too. However, during Cynthia & Carlos’s big day, it felt like we knew them for years. From their first look that brought us (and Carlos) to tears, to their first dance where afterward they went out of their way and made sure Jenn and I had a glass of champagne and cake to celebrate our own wedding day, we felt like we were apart of their closest friends and family who joined them this year to be “officially” married. I cannot believe how sweet these two were the entire day, making sure we felt 100% safe and also just going out of their way to not only celebrate them but to also celebrate Jenn and I.

Tory and I have been long time friends going back all the way to when I used to work at Apple. When Tory contacted me to document her and Jay’s big day, I was ecstatic and beyond honored she choose me out of all the creative people she works with. After the COVID-19 hurdle changed their plans multiple times, I think we were all excited that the day finally arrived earlier this month. Everything went PERFECTLY and these two tied the knot on a beautiful summer day. Although everyone couldn’t make it, they ended the night with a beautiful video montage of the guests that couldn’t be there wishing them the best day ever. It was so powerful. Love can conquer all.

We absolutely LOVE when clients refer us to their siblings. That’s why we were so excited to document Katie & Tyler this year after meeting them last year at Katies sister’s wedding (Featured here). We best part about their whole day was the fact that we knew everyone there. Katie & Jackie’s mom, dad, singlings, everyone knew us and it was so great catching up with them! Despite multiple hurdles thanks to coronavirus, Katie & Tyler still knew they wanted to tie the knot this year. If that meant a smaller wedding this year, and a larger one next, it was totally fine! COVID-19 has stopped a lot of couples plans to get married this year, but that didn’t stop Darlene & Martin from celebrating and making it “official” this year. Although their bigger reception will be next year, they still wanted to tie the knot this year and honestly, it was absolutely perfect. I personally love City Hall weddings because Providence has one of the prettiest spaces I’ve ever seen, with the best lighting too! Although only a few friends and family joined Martin & Darlene at the city hall, they were able to celebrate with a dozen or so more at their mom & dad’s beautiful home for their reception. An evening filled with chickens, ducks and their ADORABLE corgi, Ruggles we ended up having a blast. An oh, did I mention that Pranzi provided the rentals and catered the event with their amazing Paella (which I didn’t even know they offered, 10/10 would recommend). We’re so honored to have documented this special moment for these two and cannot wait for next year, but for now…

Earlier this month we had the absolute pleasure to document Heather & Chris’s intimate wedding at the beautiful Eisenhower House in Newport Rhode Island. Heather & Chris’s wedding ended up being on a cold, cloudy day but it made for some incredible photos! One thing we always tell brides is that as long as it’s not downpouring we’ll be good! Even if it is, as long as they’re up for it, we’ll go outside and take some incredible rain photos! Luckily, the rain held off and Heather & Chris were able to celebrate their day without worrying about anything! We’re so thankful for our couple’s who have a laid-back attitude and plan their wedding day with zero stress. Even if Heather was stressed, it sure didn’t seem it. She and Chris were the most welcoming, kind-hearted people we’ve ever met. We’re beyond thankful for them, their family and their incredible friends! Heather’s dad even mentioned us during his speech for saving Heather’s dress on the day of from getting attacked by a big pitbull (we ran in front and protected it at all costs). I cannot wait to share a sneak peek of theirs from the incredible day!

We don’t often travel for weddings. I’m not sure why. We actually L-O-V-E to travel. So anytime we get to combine our two favorite things: photography & traveling, we’re SO down. I cannot wait to share Jackie & Josh’s beautiful day with you all! I got to know these two over the past year. We bonded after their incredible Lovebird Session and if I remember correctly, they showed me my new favorite restaurant in Newport, Winner Winner (which, side note, has the BEST fried chicken in the state. You HAVE to try it). We quickly became friends and counted the days down to their big day at the vineyard. The day of couldn’t have been better. With cloudy overcast skies, cool september weather and their fun, laid back, “folk fest” theme to the day, you could say it was one of our favorite this past month.
